어메이징 오트는 원재료인 귀리를 그대로 마감재로 삼은 팝업입니다. 벽 아래를 따라 귀리 이삭을 밭처럼 심고 창가에는 커튼처럼 늘어뜨려, 밖에서 보면 건물의 창이 귀리 벽으로 채워집니다. 천장에는 다발을 거꾸로 매달아 건조되는 상태를 그대로 두고, 좌석은 원형 볏짚 베일을 스툴로 써 앉는 행위까지 밭의 재료 안에 둡니다. 가구는 합판과 원목 커뮤널 테이블로 낮게 통일하고 구형 조명을 가깝게 내려, 사람이 작물의 높이에 맞춰 앉는 자리가 됩니다.
Amazing Oat used its raw ingredient as the building material. Oat stalks are planted densely along the base of the walls like a field and hung as curtains across the windows, so that from the street the building’s openings read as a wall of oats. Bundles hang upside down from the ceiling, left to dry in place, and round straw bales serve as stools, putting the act of sitting inside the same material. Plywood and timber communal tables keep the furniture low with globe lights close above, seating visitors at the height of the crop.
